DailyPage Terms of Use

Last updated: November 7, 2026

1. About DailyPage and these Terms

DailyPage is a reading and language-learning app. It helps you read books, save unfamiliar words, phrases, and sentences for review, and use supported translation and AI explanation features.

DailyPage is operated by the developer of the app ("we," "us," or "our"). For questions or support, contact dailypage@heydeal.studio.

These Terms apply to DailyPage and its related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. Where applicable law requires parental or guardian permission, that permission must be obtained before use. DailyPage is not directed to children under 13.

2. App license and Apple terms

For copies obtained through Apple's App Store, use of the app is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a separate custom end-user license agreement is expressly provided through the App Store. These Terms supplement that license for DailyPage's services and features and do not restrict rights provided under Apple's applicable rules.

The app is licensed, not sold. You may use it on compatible devices in accordance with the applicable license and App Store rules. Apple's terms also govern its payment, account, and other platform services. We provide support for DailyPage; Apple is not responsible for supporting our app or its AI explanations.

3. Your books and saved content

You are responsible for ensuring that you may lawfully import, access, process, and use books or other materials in DailyPage, including having any permission needed to submit excerpts for online translation or AI processing.

You and the relevant rightsholders retain your existing rights in imported books, saved words and passages, notes, and other content. Importing content into DailyPage does not transfer ownership of that content to us. For details about how content and related information are processed, see our Privacy Policy.

DailyPage Pro gives access to applicable app features; it does not grant ownership of third-party books, permission to distribute copyrighted material, or unrestricted rights to AI-generated output. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.

Do not use DailyPage to bypass digital rights management, infringe copyright, or distribute content unlawfully. Keep copies of your important original files; DailyPage is not a replacement for your own backups.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Services unlawfully or infringe another person's rights.
  • Submit malicious code, compromise security, or interfere with service availability.
  • Access accounts, systems, or data without authorization, or improperly obtain private information.
  • Circumvent membership checks, usage limits, or security controls.
  • Resell access to online features or use unauthorized automated requests to consume them.
  • Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the app except as permitted by the applicable license or law.

5. Translations, AI, and learning indicators

DailyPage offers translation and AI-assisted reading features. Some features rely on third-party services and an internet connection. For details about AI data processing, service providers, and privacy choices, see our Privacy Policy.

Translations, definitions, AI responses, and examples may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular context. AI may generate interpretations not supported by the original text. Verify important information using reliable sources.

Review states such as "Learning" or "Mastered," vocabulary estimates, level references, and progress summaries reflect activity or estimates within DailyPage. They are not official proficiency certifications, guarantees of examination results, or official CEFR assessments. DailyPage does not guarantee a particular learning outcome or timeframe.

AI features may be subject to usage allowances, reset periods, or other restrictions stated in the applicable plan. AI access is not unlimited unless the specific offer expressly says so. Material changes to paid benefits remain subject to the applicable purchase terms and consumer rights.

6. DailyPage Pro and purchases

DailyPage may offer free features and paid Pro plans. The available plans, prices, billing periods, included features, and any AI usage allowances are shown in the app before purchase. The offer presented at the time of purchase governs if earlier descriptions differ.

For purchases made through the App Store:

  • Apple charges the payment method associated with your Apple Account after you confirm a purchase.
  • Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled in time under the terms presented by Apple. You should cancel before the renewal deadline shown by Apple to avoid another charge.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your Apple device.
  • Deleting DailyPage does not cancel an active subscription.
  • After cancellation, paid access generally remains available through the current paid period, unless Apple's terms or applicable law provide otherwise. A free trial may end on cancellation, as described by Apple.
  • Any free trial or introductory offer will show its eligibility, duration, and subsequent price before purchase. Price changes are handled under Apple's applicable notice and consent rules and relevant law.

Where eligible, you can use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Use on other devices depends on compatibility and the applicable purchase rules.

Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases can be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple's rules and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory cancellation, refund, or consumer remedy.

If a non-renewing or lifetime plan is offered, its duration and included features will be stated in the specific offer. These Terms do not promise that such a plan exists or includes unlimited third-party AI usage.

When your Pro access expires, books you have already imported will remain available for reading. However, features and benefits beyond the free plan will no longer be available unless you renew your Pro subscription.

7. Synchronization and service availability

DailyPage offers iCloud synchronization and online features. Synchronization and network services may be delayed, interrupted, or temporarily unavailable due to connectivity, platform availability, maintenance, or other factors outside our reasonable control.

For details about which information is stored or synchronized, and how data is managed or deleted, see our Privacy Policy.

We will take reasonable steps to limit service disruption. Nothing in this section removes any legal remedy you may have if paid services are not provided as required by law.

8. Our intellectual property

DailyPage's software, branding, original interface assets, and other materials we create belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials or grant trademark rights beyond ordinary use of the app. Rights in material you import are addressed in Section 3. Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

9. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information, which service providers may receive it, and your data choices and rights. Agreement to these Terms does not replace any separate privacy permission required by applicable law or Apple's platform rules.

10. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using DailyPage at any time. Active subscriptions must be managed separately through Apple.

We may restrict affected online features where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or a security threat. Where practicable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. This provision does not remove mandatory rights relating to paid access, refunds, or personal information.

11. Warranties and responsibility

Except for commitments expressly included in the applicable offer and rights required by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect synchronization, error-free translations or AI responses, or particular learning results.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for unforeseeable indirect losses or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The applicable app license may contain additional terms, subject to mandatory legal protections.

12. Changes, applicable law, and contact

We may update these Terms as DailyPage's features or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and give reasonable notice of material changes. Where consent is required by law, we will request it. Changes do not remove accrued rights or apply retroactively to disputes in ways prohibited by law.

Applicable mandatory consumer laws and any governing-law provisions in the app license continue to apply. These Terms do not require you to waive any court, regulator, or consumer protection right that cannot legally be waived. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest will remain effective to the extent permitted by law.
